🔥 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – BLAKE 🔥
What started as a decision to make a change not only for himself, but for his family too, became a commitment to better health, a better quality of life and becoming a stronger version of himself every single day 👊
9.5kg down in 8 weeks, body fat from 28.5% to 17.1% and 23kg lost overall since September 🤯
But honestly the best part has been seeing the effort behind the scenes. Early mornings before work, training session after session, no alcohol, sticking to the plan and just showing up every single day (sometimes twice a day) even when it would’ve been easier not to.
He also knocked out 2 Half Hyrox events and a full Hyrox sim during the challenge 💪
And now he’s officially locked in for his first official Hyrox event in Sydney this July 👊
To top it off, Blake finished 1st overall in the Men’s Individual standings for the entire Big 8 Challenge 🏆
With the 3rd best results in the challenge’s history 🤯
This wasn’t some random overhaul, short-term hard push or a “quick fix”. It’s the result of building real habits, discipline and consistency over time… and that’s exactly what Gritlab is all about 👊
