Good Morning Rockingham! 🇮🇹
Did you know that today, 2 June, Italy celebrates Festa della Repubblica (Republic Day)?
This important national holiday commemorates the historic referendum held on 2 June 1946, when the Italian people voted to abolish the monarchy and establish the modern Italian Republic after World War II. It was a landmark moment in Italian history, giving citizens the opportunity to choose the future of their country and paving the way for the Italian Constitution that came into force in 1948.
Today, Italians around the world celebrate with pride, remembering the values of democracy, freedom, and unity that helped shape modern Italy. 🇮🇹❤️🤍💚
From our family to yours, we wish all Italians a wonderful Festa della Repubblica!
We are currently enjoying some family time and will reopen on 12 June. We look forward to welcoming you back and sharing more amazing food and holiday experiences with you soon.
Buona Festa della Repubblica! 🇮🇹
