If you're a local Gippsland resident of long standing, you'll notice the similarity between Zdrazil's pizzas and Sokkors. This similarity is rooted in the intertwined history of Kerri and Joe, the founders of La Cappanina and Foster Street Pizza, two pioneering establishments in the pizza industry of Sale. . La Cappanina was launched in 1982 by Kerri and Joe, who adeptly operated it before transitioning to Foster Street, where they successfully managed their business for many years prior to its transfer. Unfortunately, both venues have since closed, and it's disappointing that their original essence hasn't been replicated. The strong bond between Erich Z and Joe underscores the power of shared passion, evident when Joe visits Zdrazil's Pizza, where he's reminded of a family tradition that produces authentic pizzas baked to perfection in traditional deck ovens. I've had the privilege of having Joe make pizzas alongside me, and he still exhibits remarkable skill in crafting pizzas, moving with ease as if no time has passed.
