Over the years, this community has given so much to us.
You welcomed us when we were just a small local restaurant. You celebrated our wins, supported us through difficult times, shared your family moments with us, and helped us grow into what we are today.

Because of that support, we have always believed that a business should be more than just a place that sells food. It should be a part of the community. It should look after its people.

As winter settles in and the nights become colder, we know that many people are doing it tough. Rising bills, rent, mortgages, unexpected life events, job losses, and personal struggles can affect anyone. Sometimes all it takes is one difficult chapter in life to leave someone wondering where their next meal will come from.

That's why we are bringing back our ❤️ NO ONE SLEEPS HUNGRY ❤️ initiative.
For the next few months, if you are genuinely struggling and cannot afford a meal, come and see us after 9:00 PM.

- We will give you a hot meal.
- We will treat you with respect.
- We will not ask questions.
- We will not judge you.
- We will simply help.

Because everyone deserves to go to bed with a full stomach.
Because everyone deserves kindness.
Because no child, no parent, no elderly person, and no member of our community should have to choose between paying a bill and having dinner.

If you know someone who is doing it tough, please share this post with them. There is absolutely no shame in asking for help. We all need a helping hand at different points in our lives.

And to those who are in a better position right now, we encourage you to look after one another. Check in on your neighbours. Support local charities. Buy someone a coffee. Offer a meal. Small acts of kindness can change someone's day, and sometimes even their life.

This initiative isn't about charity.
It's about community.
It's about neighbours helping neighbours.
It's about making sure that during the coldest months of the year, nobody has to go to sleep hungry.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful people who joined today’s Embers Butter Chicken Cooking Class! 👨‍🍳🔥

It was an absolute pleasure sharing our recipes, techniques, and passion for cooking with such an enthusiastic group. Seeing everyone learning, asking questions, getting hands-on, and creating their own delicious butter chicken, and naan bread made the morning truly special.

We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed teaching it. Thank you for your energy, positivity, and support of our small local business. Every class reminds us why we love sharing food and bringing people together.

A special thank you to everyone who arrived prepared, participated wholeheartedly, and helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

❤️ WHAT A MOTHER’S DAY… THANK YOU ❤️

Today was one of the biggest and busiest days we have ever had at Embers.
Over 200 beautiful people dined with us, while an overwhelming number of takeaway, pickup, and delivery orders kept flowing in all day long.

From the bottom of our hearts - THANK YOU.
Thank you for choosing us to celebrate such a special day with your mums, families, and loved ones. Seeing our restaurant full of laughter, families, flowers, and happy moments truly meant the world to us 🌸

At the same time, we also want to sincerely apologise to the customers who experienced delays in food and service today. We know some of you waited longer than expected, and we completely understand the frustration. Every single staff member - from our chefs, kitchen hands, waiters, bartenders, delivery coordinators, and behind-the-scenes team - gave absolutely everything they had today. Everyone worked nonstop trying their best to manage the rush, but despite all our efforts, we still fell short in some areas.

For that, we are truly sorry ❤️

Days like today remind us how much love and support this community gives us, but they also teach us where we need to improve. We promise we will learn from this experience, improve our systems, strengthen our team, and come back even stronger next time.

Thank you for supporting a local family business through the busy moments, the good moments, and even the challenging ones. Your patience, kindness, and support never go unnoticed.

Sometimes we sit back after a busy night… look around the restaurant… and honestly get emotional ❤️

A few years ago, Embers was just a small takeaway shop in Windang.
A tiny kitchen.
Big dreams.
And a lot of hope.
We still remember those days clearly… cooking every meal ourselves, waiting for orders, worrying about bills, wondering if people would come back again tomorrow.

There were nights we were exhausted.
Days we felt like giving up.
Moments where the stress felt too heavy.
But then slowly… this beautiful community started supporting us ❤️
One order became two.
Two became hundreds.
Customers became regulars.
Regulars became family.
And today… because of YOUR love… we now stand inside a restaurant that seats over 190 people.

Something we once could only dream about.
Every chair in this restaurant tells a story.
Every table reminds us how far we’ve come.
And every single customer who walked through our doors helped build this dream brick by brick 🙏
People see the big restaurant now…
But they don’t see the journey behind it.
The sacrifices.
The sleepless nights.
The hard work.
The fear.
The risks.

You gave us a chance when we were small.
And you never stopped believing in us.
