Dear customers, unfortunately we will be unable to open today, as we have staffing issues. We will hopefully be back to normal on Monday, reopening at 9 am. Unfortunately I have been identified as a close contact to a COVID case. This means I will be unable to open until late next week, I will post an update advising when we can return. Stay safe and take care and I look forward to seeing everyone after I’ve been released 😊☕️☕️🍰

Merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year to all our dearly valued customers. As many may be aware, today we farewell Brendan, who has been at the cafe for 6.5 years. I’d like to thank Brendan, and wish him all the best in his new position at Food and Brew in Burnie. We will be taking a short break for a few days, reopening 9 a.m Tuesday Jan 4.

This little guy has been sitting in the arcade in Somerset, looking pretty lonely😞. In light of the recent announcement by Prime Minister Morrison,as of 12 noon tomorrow we can only supply take away food and coffee. Tomorrow we will have fresh sandwiches, home made steak and mushroom pies, homemade curried chicken pies, and sausage rolls, as well as some items from our regular menu. There will also be a couple of hot dishes to select from. Phone orders are welcomed and encouraged 64350025

Just an update for our dearly valued customers, please be assured we are taking every measure to protect you and ourselves from the Covid19 virus. In order to comply with current government restrictions, we have reduced the number of seats in the Cafe,as per the guidelines. If you would prefer to have your coffee in a disposable cup, please advise us when you place your order, and we will be more than happy to accomodate you.
From Monday March 23rd we will be offering a range of take away meals, as well as a selection of home made pies, sausage rolls and sweet treats. Phone orders are most welcome, and we are more than happy to bring your order to your car if you don't want to come in to shop.
We will keep you updated with changes as they happen, but for now its business as usual, and we look forward to continuing to serve you
