As many of you are aware , Lemon and Lime Cafe has unfortunately closed. Due to Warrens health and the state of the economy it was no longer viable to keep it open. Those who know Warren , will know he is a lovely guy with a huge heart ♥️ and did a lot for the community , even donating coffee money to the children’s hospital on his last days in business. I know personally that this has been an extremely hard decision and difficult time for Warren, emotionally and physically. Now’s the time to reach out, if you know Warren please drop him a line , check in on him as he would do for you ❤️ Let’s now as a community come together and help out a mate ❤️

AND SO IT ENDS
After much thought I have decided this morning that Lemon N Lime Cafe will close this Friday January 5th. Mentally, Physically and emotionally, health wise, I am running on empty.Basically I'm bugg**ed. A possible sale did not eventuate last night, so I needed to decide whether my health is up to battling on. A quiter December and January has made this decision easier.
I never thought I would be cooking in a Cafe, but I gave it my best shot. Thank you to everyone that has supported the Cafe in some way and my apologies for this decision.
This morning i checked the Pay it Forward Hearts and there were 31, so I have made a donation off $155 to Perth Childrens Hospital. Our supporters purchased these hearts so I hope you like the cause that i picked to Pay it Forward to. Next week will be spent cleaning up the Cafe, then I'm job hunting. If anyone has work for a 55 year old male with not alot of skills, please PM me, I need a job come Monday 15 January.
Thank you for this experience, thank you to everyone that supported me and the Cafe in some way, and best wishes to the other businesses in the community.

Thanks for all your support in 2023.
To all those people that have faced various struggles throughout 2023, I hope 2024 treats you better. For those that will continue to face adversity , I hope that you can find some positives. To all the wonderful people in our community that make things better, that volunteer in some way with so many wonderful organisations or who contribute positively in some way, thank you.
I'm blessed to have meet so many wonderful people in 2023, and I'm so proud to have such a wonderful daughter. May she continue to grow and prosper in 2024 ( any parent just wants the best for their children )

LOLLIES, LOLLIES, LOLLIES
Some wonderful volunteers from The South Yunderup Firies dropped in a heap of lolly bags left over from the Santa Drive around, that was cancelled before Christmas as the awesome volunteers were out fighting some fires.
Please get your children to pop into the Cafe and get some free bags, especially if you think they need that Pre New Years Eve sugar rush.
If you hear reports of a strange looking man giving out LOLLIES to children at the Sandy Cove playground, yes that's me, and I did ask the parents permission first.
Thank you to everyone that organised and supported this Santa event and to all the volunteers at the Brigade, the biggest THANK YOU, off all.

What a beautiful view to enjoy a catch up with family or friends. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, Fresh Juice or Milkshakes. Customer Service is fantastic.
Open 8 to 2 for the rest of the week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Take away Fish and Chips available Friday and Saturday this week. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT OPEN SUNDAY NIGHT FOR FISH AND CHIPS THIS WEEK, NEW YEARS EVE.

HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS DAY. MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ME AND THE REAL BOSS. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN OUR LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE.
To all those people who are unable to enjoy Christmas Day with family because they are working, thank you for doing so. Staff safe.
To those that were able to keep their family tradition of Fish and Chips on Christmas Eve alive by enjoying a meal from the Cafe last night, thank you for your support.

Fish and Chips are available this weekend, Fri, Sat and Sunday 5 to 7.30.
I wasn't going to open Christmas Eve until I received 2 phone calls from locals today asking if we would be open Christmas Eve. It's a tradition in these house holds to have Fish and Chips on Christmas Eve. Nowhere else is open and I can't think off a better way to wait for Santa than doing Fish and Chips with Eloise, so open we will. We might even cook an extra piece of Snapper for Santa, just to surprise him. Merry Christmas

Firstly, thank you all for the wonderful comments about the Cafe and best wishes for Eloise. They were all very much appreciated.
I'm not sure how to word the next bit, so here goes.I feel like I'm letting down the wonderful people that support the Cafe.
Over the last few months, the past year has caught up with me health wise and I've had a couple off unplanned stays at Peel Hospital. After much thought and for personal and health reasons ( being around for Eloise is the most important thing for me ) I'm looking at selling the Cafe, privately, should anyone be interested. Just like this family of Swans that have been resident in the Canals for the last month, it's an opportunity to buy a business with plenty off growth available.
I have done the best I can ,and have no regrets, but now would be a fantastic time to change ownership. What a great time to take over a business in this wonderful part of paradise.My heart is willing, but mind and body isn't.
In the meantime I will continue to do the best I can and along with the staff treat every customer with the respect they deserve. It's business as usual.
Please continue to support us. I am not advertising the business on other sites, just this page, at this stage. This post is about seeing if there is interest in purchasing the Cafe at a very reasonable price, WIWO, you are ready to go.

TUESDAY 19TH DECEMBER,a day to celebrate for me and also one of mixed emotions.
LEMON N LIME CAFE turns 1. Happy Birthday. Thank you to everyone that has supported the Cafe in some way. To all the staff, a heart felt thank you. To every customer, thank you for giving us a go. I made mistakes, learnt alot, but no matter what we tried our hardest every day. We weren't perfect but hopefully we learnt from our mistakes. We introduced some positive community ideas and thank you for supporting those.
ITS ELOISES BIRTHDAY. I'm so proud off this incredible girl. Many a day, her smile has turned my day around. She is fantastic to have around the Cafe and enjoys so much serving customers. Her commitment and success in swimming and her loving heart , as well as many other things make me a very proud dad.
There is a deeply personal reason why this day has been important for years as well.
I'm not sure what the future holds, but a huge Thank you to everyone for supporting the Cafe.
