🌳 Meet the Trees of Mineral Springs Truffles
Behind every beautiful black truffle is a tree with a story.
This season, we've decided to name each of our French Oak trees as they begin producing truffles. After years of nurturing them, it feels only fitting that they each have their own identity. Every tree grows a little differently, produces at its own pace, and has played a unique role in the journey of our truffière.
Through this new series, we'd love to introduce you to the trees behind our harvest and take you along as we discover what lies beneath their roots each winter.
👑 Meet Alexander the Great
Standing proudly at the front of Row A1, Alexander was one of our very first productive trees. Tall, strong and impossible to miss, his name seemed destined from the moment we chose it.
Each season we'll visit Alexander to see how he's growing, what he's producing, and share a glimpse into the fascinating world of truffle farming. It's a reminder that exceptional truffles don't happen overnight—they're the result of years of patience, care and nature working in partnership.
Alexander is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, we'll introduce you to more of our trees, each with its own name, personality and harvest story.
We hope you'll enjoy getting to know them as much as we do. 🌳🍄
Do you have a favourite tree in your garden that you've given a name? We'd love to hear about it in the comments.
