Hello everyone
I’ve been a little quiet over here with school holidays happening and just focusing on fulfilling all of your beautiful custom orders behind the scenes
I will be restocking the website next Sunday 19th July.
This will also be the last chance to get your hands on cookie pie for now. I’ve made the decision to remove it from regular postal drops at this stage.
Moving forward after this drop, cookie pies will be available to order for a 3 week window only, and I’ll be focusing mainly on shipping:
• New York cookies
• Brownies
• Blondies
I also want to be transparent that due to rising costs, I’ve had to make a small price increase across some items. I haven’t adjusted my pricing in a long time in fact, my custom cake pricing has remained the same since 2024.
It’s easy to forget how much things have changed, but even something as simple as a block of butter has gone from around $5 to $9.50. There is so much that goes into each order behind the scenes premium ingredients, packaging, boards, edible images, acrylic toppers, card toppers, candles, sprinkles, and even down to colouring all of which has increased significantly over time.
As always, I’m so grateful for every single order and for supporting my little business 🫶🏽

June is now completely booked out for custom orders
Thank you so much for keeping me so busy!

July has very limited availability remaining with only one weekend left open
August is also filling quickly and is almost fully booked

Please note I will be unavailable throughout September due to family commitments & October is already starting to fill fast

If you’re thinking about booking a custom cake cupcakes or cookies for the second half of the year I highly recommend securing your date as soon as possible to avoid missing out

A little business reality that probably doesn’t get talked about enough shipping

This week’s postal run cost me $189.49 through Australia Post the shipping fees collected through my website totalled $135 which means I personally covered the remaining $54.49

When you pay a shipping fee on a small business website it’s easy to assume that money goes to the business In reality for many of us it simply helps cover the cost of getting your order to your door and often doesn’t even cover it completely

That shipping fee doesn’t include boxes, packaging labels tape protective wrapping fuel to the post office or the time spent packing every order

I’m not sharing this to complain I absolutely love offering Australia wide postage and I’m so grateful for every order I just thought it was an interesting behind the scenes insight into the true cost of getting your goodies delivered safely
