While I'm sitting here cleaning the linen closet, watching my TV series and drinking my cup of tea... (becasuse you know.... someone's brain doesn't know how to do one thing at a time anymore) I'm thinking about Brendan and Shonel getting the shop all ready to Rock n' Roll and open this week. I remember how exciting it was and also scary.. adrenaline was high!

From the bottom of my heart I wish them all the very best for their first day and the future 💙
It will be nice to get served by all my old staff and boss them around like an annoying customer 😉
Also.. I'd love to see Vicki riding around on skates serving milkshakes while dancing to Blues music.. who agrees? 🤭
This is also my final GOODBYE on the Em's Cafe page.

Head in for a coffee and some takeaway food options tomorrow from 7am-2pm and meet the New owners!
We wish Brendan and Shonel all the very best on their first day tomorrow.
(Operating as takeaway only with some seating outside until they re-open fully in a few weeks)

UPDATE FROM THE TOPAZ TEAM....

Excitement is in the air & so many questions!! 🤯🤔 We would like to clear things up, SO HERE ARE THE FACTS:

✅Both Em's Cafe & Blue Topaz will be closed on settlement day Mon 12th June.

✅From Tues 13th at 7am, Em's Cafe will be operating a 'Renovations Takeaway Menu' only while works commence.

✅ Altitude 925 coffee will continue to be available during renovations & beyond and we will be honouring all coffee loyalty cards.

✅Blue Topaz Diner will continue to operate it's full menu right through until the very last minute when works are completed in town.

✅There may be a day, prior to opening the 'New Diner' where both businesses will be closed, this date will be advised.

✅Blue Topaz Diner will be closed on Thursday evenings from now on to enable additional transition time & organisation.

✅To prioritise the changes, the water truck will be out of action until further notice.

✅Blue Topaz Caravan Park will continue to operate as an accommodation establishment, and takeaway food options will be available. We also have some cool NEW additions that we will be revealing soon!!

We have some exciting news that may come as a shock to some, but when the stars align I thinks it's meant to be.
We are very happy and honoured to be selling our busy little Cafe to already well established local business owners Brendan and Shonel from "The Blue Topaz".

I am so proud of what we have built up over the past 2 years in such a challenging time for the hospitality industry.
We could have not done it without my AMAZING team that has stuck by us the whole time through every decision we made.
Also to family that has supported us and helped out in any way, any business can not be run without the support of family.

I will miss every single one of my regular customers, the connection myself and my staff have made with some of you guys has been the best part.

But don't be sad, you will still be seeing some of our faces around as some of the staff will be staying on.

We wish Brendan and Shon all the very best and I am beyond proud to he passing our business onto such a passionate couple.

Forever grateful for all of you that have supported us.

We will be operating as normal up until Saturday the 10th June, as of Monday the 12th June the new owners will take over.

We'd love to see you continue to support Brendan and Shonel on their new adventure.
