Located in the heart of Sydney, Song Kitchen brings a Mediterranean touch to the southern end of Hyde Park. Our philosophy is based on generosity and honesty.

Welcome to Song Kitchen
We pride ourselves on our delicious modern Australian food, our carefully curated women-owned wine list and our unique profit-for-purpose model that donates 25% of proceeds to YWCA Our restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Song Hotel (formerly the Y Hotel), which is owned by the YWCA NSW. Produce is fresh and local, portions are big and pricing is fair. The kitch

en also offers quality bar food and delicious burgers for those on the go. Our wine list has been curated by leading sommelier and wine consultant Sophie Otton. Song Kitchen shares the YWCA’s social conscience. All restaurant profits help fund domestic violence support, women’s refuges, homeless support, mentoring for young women and financial literacy. Song Kitchen is open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm. Available for private events Tuesday to Sunday (on request).

We’re looking for an experienced Barista All-rounder to work 15–30 hours per week, primarily morning shifts, serving exceptional coffee while delivering friendly, professional customer service.
What you’ll bring:
Minimum 1 year of barista experience
Experience opening a café independently
Confident with POS, taking orders and processing payments
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
