That cheeeeeeeese though 🤤🤤🤤

Chef Jo rarely makes fusion dishes. If it's a Filipino dish, it is straight up Filo. If classic Aussie, then so be it.

But caldereta as pasta just makes perfect sense...

Hearty tomato-based beef cheek stew ✔️
Capsicum, olives ✔️
Casarecce and its unique scoop-like shape to hold the sauce ✔️
14-month old Grana Padano to finish ✔️
With a side of chilli flakes 🔥

This is it! Last week of our palabok special.

To give you every chance for a proper goodbye, we will be making it available for the first time on UberEats from tomorrow until the end of June.

To those who've tried it, loved it, but coudn't quite figure out what sets Chef Jo's version apart, it's the salted duck egg sauce drizzle on the prawns (👀 1st part of this reel).

And the only reason we are saying goodbye to our palabok is to make space for the next noodle special. 🤔

We don't think you will be able to guess it, but feel free to try 😜

The heart of this neighbourhood Sydney cafe?

The Greenknowe crew that we've built through the years 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Just a simple appreciation post for the team that makes working through a demanding long weekend service seem like clockwork.

What we fervently wish for this team, outside of the cafe life, is for them to be blessed with whatever their hearts desire---like Manager Darryl getting his permanent residency, and Sam wrapping up his Australian working holiday on a high (last photo is our simple celebration).
