We are certified organic pasta makers, restauranteurs and educators. Our pasta, even if we say so ourselves, is pretty damn good. We've even been recognised and have twice been nominated as having the best pasta in Sydney by The Sydney Morning Herald. You can buy our pasta and sauces to cook at home from our shop open from Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00AM to 10:00PM. You can try them in the restaurant (

when self-isolation is but a memory). You can learn how to make them in our cooking classes (again, once we're allowed to gather in groups.) Pasta Emilia prides itself buying organic ingredients direct from some of the country's best farmers and producers. Our pasta goddess, Anna, also uses signature ingredients from her home Emilia, the gastronomic capital of Italy, in order to bring you the authentic taste. Anna watches over every batch of pasta that our team makes in our small Laboratorio di Pasta here in Surry Hills. You more than welcome to visit us, at a social distance, whenever you are passing.

From our Organic Biodynamic Vineyard in the Hunter Valley - Riverpines.
Its soft and fruity character marries well with our duck and truffle tortelli here at Pasta Emilia.

Updates from the vineyard.
Harvest is just around the corner.
The whites are almost ready, the reds will follow in a
couple of weeks.
Biodynamic preparations are working with the season, the soil and the sky, helping the vines to grow stronger and ripen fruit.
Meanwhile, Rod has been busy in the garden, the bees have returned to the vineyards, with a shared attention to using everything well, wasting nothing.
