this slice of cake is around
900g~ (each slice is hand cut btw)
at woolies, the price of 180g of cadbury chocolate is $8 which makes its per kilo price, $44. cadbury, from woolies... no labour, dirt cheap cogs, mass-produced chocolate.
we make these cakes exclusively using
chocolate, and it takes a team of incredibly skilled pastry chefs to make it. also this is a collab with a brand flying over from the UK! we have to split any profit with + cover costs.
we understand it’s a luxury purchase, but if people are willing to buy cadbury at $8 a block, i think this is a pretty fair price. and if you don’t think that’s fair, it’s luckily just a slice of cake and you can simply not buy it :)
