This 1967 Lotus Elan S3, entered in Regularity by Bruce Melville at our recent Sydney Classic Motorsport Park is a nimble machine and fun to watch, especially through the corners!

Our Young Women in Motorsport recipient Mackenzie Pollard completed her first HSRCA race weekend recently in the club's Formula Vee, improving her lap time in every session.

A huge thank you to the many members, mentors and volunteers who helped make her debut weekend such a positive experience.

We can't wait to watch her journey continue. 👏🏁 Her next race with the club will be at our Spring Festival Raceway 25-27 September, come and show your support!

The HSRCA sends its very best wishes to Formula Vee driver Tony Paynter as he continues his recovery following his accident at the Sydney Classic.

Tony is now home after hand surgery and recovering well, and we look forward to welcoming him back to the paddock when the time is right.

Following the incident, Tony has encouraged fellow open-wheel competitors to consider using arm restraints to help prevent injuries in the event of an accident. It's a simple piece of safety equipment that can make a significant difference.

We wish Tony a smooth recovery and thank him for sharing such an important reminder with the historic racing community. 💙🏁

The chequered flag may have fallen, but behind the scenes we're still sorting through a mountain of photos and video footage from the weekend, reliving the action one image at a time.
