Can anyone recommend a good personal trainer, gym or fitness program around Dee Why/Northern Beaches? It’s time to balance out all that cake testing! 🎂🏋️‍♀️

Now — A Different Kind of Art

I didn’t become creative when I created V’s Dessert. I simply found a new canvas.

From painting and paper quilling to silk tie dye and embroidery, I have always loved creating things with my hands. Looking through these old photos, I realised how much of the same little girl still exists in the person I am today.

The materials may have changed, but the patience, attention to detail and joy of turning an idea into something beautiful never did.

Perhaps dessert was never an entirely new path for me—just the next form my creativity chose to take. 💖

Can we just take a moment to appreciate our customers? 🥹🩷

Ever since the day we opened, one thing has always stood out to us.

You’ve always been incredibly kind.

Some of you stack your plates before you leave. Some quietly bring them back to the counter. When we’re busy, we’ve even seen customers happily shuffle around to make room for others so everyone can find a seat—all without us saying a word.

None of this is expected, and we’ve never asked anyone to do it.

But these little moments never go unnoticed.

You’ve been so patient on our busiest days, so understanding when we’re flat out, and so genuinely friendly that many of you feel more like family than customers.

As a small independent café, that’s something we never take for granted.

Thank you for every smile, every chat, every encouraging word, and every little act of kindness. You’ve helped make V’s Dessert the warm and welcoming place it is today, and we’re so grateful to have such an incredible community.

An unforgettable milestone for V’s Dessert 💖

Today I had the honour of receiving a Community Recognition Statement from the NSW Parliament in recognition of V’s Dessert and our achievements at the 2026 Sydney Royal.

What started as a dream to create delicious gluten-free desserts that everyone could enjoy has grown into something I never imagined. From winning the National Champion to having our story recognised by the NSW Parliament, I’m incredibly grateful for every step of this journey.

This recognition isn’t just for me—it’s for every customer who has supported us, every friend and family member who believed in us, and everyone who has helped V’s Dessert grow.

A sincere thank you to for recognising local small businesses and celebrating the passion and hard work that goes into building our community.
