Our well loved Prawn Pulao continues into Winter

Char-grilled prawns over fried brown rice with chorizo, Spanish onion and pineapple, tossed in nuoc cham. Finished with honey fermented chilli, shallots, furikake and a wedge of lemon on the side.

There’s something about winter mornings that asks you to slow down a little.

Maybe it’s the cold air outside.
Maybe it’s the comfort of sitting somewhere warm while the world slowly wakes up.

Our first two new winter dishes were created exactly for that feeling.

The Forest Berry Porridge arrives warm and comforting, layered with rich berries, soft texture, and just the right amount of sweetness ~ the kind of breakfast that feels nostalgic in the best way. Like quiet mornings, cold fingertips wrapped around a coffee cup, and taking your time for once.

Then there’s our Smashed Avocado with blistered tomatoes ~ stripping it back to fresh, vibrant, and balanced with that slow warmth that winter calls for. A little comforting, a little bright, and made to pair perfectly with your morning coffee and a catch-up that turns into staying longer than planned.

In the steam rising from fresh coffee cups, in oversized knit jumpers pulled over cold hands, in beanies to keep your head warm.
Tomorrow, we welcome our new winter menu at Talulah ~ created for slower mornings, longer conversations, and those in-between moments where the world outside feels soft and still.
This season is all about comfort.
The kind that lingers.
Warm bowls shared across the table. Coffee refills that turn into another hour spent together. Nourishing plates fresh from the kitchen. Familiar favourites with a little winter twist. The feeling of stepping out of the cold and into somewhere that feels calm, golden, and full.
We wanted this menu to feel like winter should feel ~ nourishing, cosy, grounding.
A reason to slow down for a moment.
So layer up in your favourite knit, bring someone you love, and settle in with us this Winter.

We’re hiring Casual Front of House and Baristas — weekday and weekend availability is essential.

For those who don’t know us, Talulah is built around community. We’re passionate about creating a space where people can retreat, connect and nourish, while serving great coffee, food, and bringing warmth to the everyday.

We’re looking for someone with experience who brings positive energy, confidence, and a warm approach to customer service. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

In return, you’ll be joining a supportive team who care deeply about the people we work with and the community we’re part of.
