The grain is in, the mill is turning, and the next chapter is underway. 🍻

Today Tony fired up the brewery and started brewing our newest beer — The Anderson 80 Shilling.

Inspired by Scottish tradition and crafted with plenty of character, this smooth, malt-forward ale is brewing right now at Pacific Ocean Brewery. Rich caramel notes, a touch of toffee sweetness, and when it hits the taps, it’ll be poured on nitro for an incredibly creamy mouthfeel.

A lot of love has gone into this one, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the Forster Tuncurry Veterans Golf Day for the John Cribb Memorial such a fantastic event. ⛳️

Most of our beers have a story.

This one means a little more.

Before Pacific Ocean Brewery, before the medals, before the brewery doors ever opened, there was a family name that played a part in getting us here.

For a long time we have wanted to brew a beer that quietly acknowledges that story and Tony our brewer is up for the challenge.

An old Scottish style. A nod to heritage. A nod to family. And maybe a small thank you to the people who backed the dream long before it became reality.

The Anderson 80 Shilling.

Still waiting on final approval from Jane… but I think this one might just make it onto the taps.
