Hi to all our wonderful customers and followers...

It's taken me a while to be brave enough to post this message, but if I put it out there, everyone might understand what's happening with us, and why we have had to put this wonderful little shop back on the market.

My partner, Phil, and co-owner of the business, has very recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, after being very sick for the last month 😢. He has already started chemotherapy, and is undergoing numerous scans, blood tests, oncology appointments that I have to take him too, as he's on very strong pain medication that means he cant drive.
Previous to that, after only owning the business for 2 months, he had a massive heart scare, which prompted us putting it straight back on the market.

Now, with this very recent health diagnosis, the need to sell our wonderful little shop, has become critical.

If I could ask you guys to share this far and wide, so we can find the next owner for this great little business, and let Phil and to a lesser extent, myself, concentrate on tackling this insidious disease together, without the huge pressure of owning a business.

I also want to make a huge shout out to my incredible staff, who have stood up and kept the doors open, when all I wanted to do, was crawl in a corner and cry 😢.

We could not do this without our staff under normal circumstances, let alone the extraordinary challenges thrown at them recently 👏.

And to our amazing customers, who knew a little of what was happening, and offering help in any way they could....with transport (thanks Chris), help in the kitchen, or just being there and listening, when it all seemed just too overwhelming....we appreciate you guys and girls more than you could ever know.

So, if there's times where we don't have a lot of our Heat n Eats available, please understand that there's only 2 of us cooking them, and one of us (me) cant always be there, and the other (Bec) needs her days off, as she's covering for me alot lately. We love doing them, and will endeavour to have something there, but they are time consuming and when life throws massive curve balls at you, all good intentions tend to fly out the window.
