Small, soulful, and sustainable — that’s how we choose to run Nevedya. 🌿
We’re Daniel and Shakti — the owners of Nevedya.
Daniel runs the floor, and Shakti leads the kitchen. Together, we pour our hearts into every part of this space.
We often get asked:
“Why not open more days?”
“Why not open Saturday or Sunday night?”
“Why not open early for coffee?”
“Why not stay open later?”
“Why not open another venue?”
The truth is — we already work full-time hours within the 4 days we’re open: Thursday to Sunday (including Thursday & Friday dinners).
That rhythm is what keeps Nevedya what it is.
Hospitality burnout is real. The endless hours, the pressure to scale, the push for “more” — it’s exhausted so many beautiful people and venues. We’ve seen it. We’ve felt it.
So we’ve chosen another way.
Nevedya is intentionally small.
It’s not built to grow — it’s built to nourish: our guests, our team, and ourselves.
Every dish plated, every smile shared, every moment of calm you feel here comes directly from us — Daniel on the floor, Shakti in the kitchen — and our small, beautiful team beside us.
Business coaches always say: expand, get a manager, work off-site.
But that’s not who we are.
Daniel used to work from home as a graphic designer, sitting at a computer all day — and as someone with autism and ADHD, that kind of remote, admin-heavy work was living hell.
Being on the floor, moving, talking, connecting — that’s what keeps him sane, grounded, and alive.
We didn’t build Nevedya to step away from it — we built it to be in it.
This is sustainable hospitality.
It’s slower, smaller, and deeply intentional — and it’s what keeps Nevedya real.
💛 Thank you for choosing heart over hurry, and presence over expansion.
