I started this cafe with some pretty radical ideas on how to make our industry a better one, a more viable career option, a space where people can hold their heads high and do their best work--be their best selves.

It's non-stop backbreaking work, 24/7. We've made mistakes, bruised egos, and disappointed more than a few people.

But to be able to do what we do is a privilege and I'm grateful for everyone who's stuck with us.

And to be recognized as a trailblazer? Well, that's just nice. :)
