They say that as one door closes another opens.
This post today is all about gratitude.
Gratitude for you. Gratitude for the team. Gratitude for my family.
The time has come for me to say goodbye to Heidi’s Coffee Shop.
The journey began 19 months ago when I first started this little shop on the corner. Who knew that this little shop would become so important to my own wellbeing and allowed me to once again learn how to smile, laugh, dance and sing! (Sorry to those who had to listen)
After losing my Mumma, I really had lost my way and decided to leave the Education Sector that I had been a part of for 25 years and decided to try and be a part of my very different world in a different way.
Since the doors have opened; I have met people that have inspired me, made me laugh, made me cry and most of all taught me to open my heart again.
Thank you does not seem enough; but this is what I have for you all. Thank you for everything. You will never know how you have helped my healing process.
For the team that surrounded me every day – Thank You! The team that are there for you every day and have been the reason for everything. I value you now and will value you always.
To my family – Thank You. The building work when I decided to make changes at a moment's notice, the daily shopping, the listening ear and most of all just being there – each and every day.
To the suppliers who have been there every step of the way – Thank You.
My last day of ownership will be Saturday 15th October – I’m not quite sure how this day is going to go, but I do know it will be my choice in music.
To the new business that is coming to our little corner – we welcome you and will continue to support you.
Ashlie and Shane will be commencing Blended Cafe from Monday 17th October. Please continue to support our little corner in the main street by liking and sharing their page, but more importantly popping in to see what their new offerings will bring to your lives.
For Now – This is me not knowing what is next and that in itself is exciting.
With much love and gratitude – Always.
Heidi
