Besides all the amazing staff at Manning Base Hospital, the one thing that really saved my life was that they had congee on the breakfast menu. Our special tomorrow is my version. Made with chunky chicken, topped with corn fried in sesame oil, spring onions and crispy chicken skin. $14

Hi everybody!
It's been a crazy couple of weeks. I had a wee accident & am currently nursing 4 broken ribs and a lacerated liver & kidney which means I'll probably be out of action for a couple more weeks. Booo! The good news is, Dan & Kylie are going to open the shop on Thursdays & Fridays 9-2 until I'm back on my feet. Pop in and say g'day, get a banh mi, some dumplings or yummy wonton soup.
