We're coming up to one year of Lu Mare, and we're celebrating with our Regional Dinner Series. Over the next three months, we'll take you through some of our favourite regions of Italy, celebrating the unique food, wine and traditions that make each one so special.
To begin the series, it only felt right to start in Le Marche, the region both our owner, Maria, and one of our chefs proudly call home. You might read the menu and not recognise every dish, but that's exactly the point. Regional Italian cooking is wonderfully diverse, and this is your chance to discover new flavours and traditional dishes you may not have tried before.
This menu features 12 different dishes, from simple antipasti usually enjoyed around the family table to handmade pasta from the town of Campofilone, slow-cooked wild boar ragù, rabbit cooked in the traditional porchetta style with wild fennel, and a classic Zuppa Inglese to finish. Each course can also be paired with wines from the region.
Find the full menu on our what's on page and book your table online. Whether you join us for this dinner, one of the upcoming regions, or all of them, we can't wait to share a little more of Italy with you.
