Yarragon Hotel was built in 1926 and has provided travellers with friendly and efficient customer service for many years. The Hotel dining room has a reputation for consistently delivering great food for guests. Owned and operated by Chris and Renee Kemp the Hotel is situated in the main retail hub of Yarragon Village, a comfortable one hour and twenty minute drive from Melbourne. Yarragon is well

known for its unique retail stores, antique shops and galleries. I, Francis Osmond Turner, the holder of a victualler’s license for Commercial Hotel, at Yarragon, in the Walhalla Licensing District, and I, Albert Joseph James Missen, of Newry, hereby give notice that we will APPLY to the Licensing Court at Melbourne on Monday, 9th day of December, 1929, for the TRANSFER of the LICENCE to the said Albert Joseph James Missen.

Dated 29th November, 1925.

Weird fact: Chris and I opened on 9/12/2011, exactly 82 years after this was lodged 🥹

After 6 years and two albums heading up the psychedelic blues outfit, Nick Carver & the Mean St Butchers, Nick Carver has launched a new solo project under his own moniker.

Brandishing a pawn shop lapsteel and a stomp box, Carver is exploring old and new material from an ulta stripped back standpoint. Having wowed audiences at festivals such as Out On The Weekend and supporting artists including Ash Grunwald and The Tea Party, Carver is an artist to keep an eye on in the future.

Fans of Cedric Burnside and Seasick Steve would be wise to check him out and he's playing in our beer garden this Easter Sunday🐰
