🔥 APPRENTICE CHEF - want to join our Creative Crew.

Not looking for a clock-watcher.
Not looking for someone who thinks chicken nuggets are a food group.
Our team of chefs bring experience from across the industry, including cafés, fine dining restaurants, high-volume event kitchens, and pastry and dessert production. That means real exposure, real mentorship, and a chance to build skills across multiple styles of cooking, not just one lane.
If you’re motivated, hands-on, and serious about becoming a well-rounded chef, we’ve got a lot to teach and a team ready to back you.

At Creative Cater, No two weeks ever look the same for our team. In a single week we may cater multiple events, each with a completely different style of service, from plated alternate drop and roaming canapés to street food, shared banquets and dessert experiences.

What you’ll get:
• Hands-on training across events, weddings, and large-scale catering
• A team that actually teaches, not just tells
• Real kitchen experience (not just peeling onions… although yes, sometimes onions)
• Opportunities to grow with a business that’s expanding.

What we’re looking for:
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Ability to handle big days on your feet as well a heavy lifting. We are a mobile catering company with Food trailers, so we do alot more than just cook food.
• Drivers license with own car is ideal, however if you have the means to get where we need you, thats great. TAFE training( in Rockhampton) is done one day a week paid work.
