Courteous personality, ability to carry heavy luggage up and down stairs,

DRIVER / STORES ASSISTANT
Impeccable driving record, must be over 25 years old, ability to carry heavy loads,
able to work shifts and weekends. Knowledge of stockkeeping and F&B a plus.

FINE DINING FOOD WAITERS AND BARTENDERS
Experienced Waitstaff in Fine Dining environment (all levels).
Knowledge of a variety of food and beverages a plus.
Bartenders must have experience mixing and creating cocktails, as well as fine spirits.

COOKS
Mid-Level position - Knowledgeable in many aspects of fine dining cuisine:

Bahamian Dish Travels to Space

Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant’s signature conch chowder has officially gone where no Bahamian dish has gone before, space! The acclaimed chowder was part of the flight kit carried by former NASA rocket scientist and Bahamian-American Aisha Bowe aboard her historic all-women Blue Origin New Shepard mission on April 14, 2025.
“I folded the conch chowder and had it in my pocket,” says Aisha Bowe with a smile, reflecting on the moment she brought a taste of The Bahamas on board. The idea to take the freeze-dried chowder was a collaboration between Aisha and her cousin, Chef Elijah Bowe, Executive Chef at Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant, during a casual family conversation.

“This is more than just our soup going to space,” says Enrico Garzaroli, owner of Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant. “It’s a celebration of Bahamian excellence and heritage.”

The encased freeze-dried conch chowder pack, now on display in the Lounge at Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant was “unveiled” prior to a dinner hosted by Prime Minister, The Hon. Brave Davis and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell honouring British High Commissioner, HE Tom Hartley.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Welcome guests to Hotel & Restaurant
-Able to juggle a variety of tasks at once
-Take diners’ orders
-Ensure that dining rooms and all FOH and BOH spaces are set up and ready
-Provide guests information on property
-Resolve customer service issues
-Work with Maître d’ on staff schedules
-Supervise and discipline waitstaff as necessary
-Assist waitstaff with service as needed
-Liaise with other departments for service effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have 5+ years’ experience working in a Fine Dining Restaurant, with at least 1 as FOH host/hostess and 2 as captain
-Strong and diverse Food and Beverage background
-Customer Service savvy
-Excellent command of the English language, foreign language skills a plus
-Excellent interpersonal & communications skills
