I had 1000 reasons as to why not and I chose to go with the 1 reason why I should and I did!

I remembered that we only regret the things we didn’t do!

So dang it!

I did it!
I’m proud!
It was beautiful!
It will only get better!

But in this moment I’m gonna thank myself…because this was a value filled event, it was needed, I anchored & aligned & brought the magic in 3 short weeks! I shook the fear with not asking for help, I found the relationships that needed what I needed & Boom! Congratulations to me! I’m proud of you today & every day! Keep pushing forward!

Our June event is going to be fantastic! I can’t wait to see you there!

Its easy to want to build something! It’s not enough to talk about it over and over. We definitely have to Jump!

I’ve been guiding & encouraging women to jump for a few years now and it was time I JUMPED on a project I’ve needed to execute for years.

I’m great at making the jump but this one was a little hard! But I did it anyway!

With shaking hands and mild panic racing through my veins, I clicked send and “Check Your Pulse” was more than words in my journal, but a real thing, that I’d have to see to the end! And I did…and it was BEAUTIFUL!

Monthly I’ll be hosting a quarterly check in to see how far you’ve come, are you following your tasks, have you taken time to breathe, to be still, are you focused, intentional and ready?

Please save the date, We’ll be doing it again on June 10th! You’ve got to check your pulse! You must invest in yourself!

“Check your Pulse” is a quarterly Womens initiative & this quarter, we’ll be celebrating women in honor of this years International Women’s Day! We’re having relevant and pointed discussions about Women’s Equity, Money Management, Mental Wellness, Family and so much more. There are 7 speakers, professionals in their fields, sharing and blessing us with knowledge, tips and understanding on how to navigate our current climate as it pertains to us!

Introducing our panelist Rayharna Wright-Strachan

Rayharna has been a youth development expert for almost a decade. Rayharna has worked with the Government of Jamaica’s National Youth Agency as a Senior Director for Community Service developing and implementing national youth development policies. She then moved on to National Training Agency of Jamaica to serve as Director, Employment and Career Services and subsequently Regional Director where she provided oversight for the development and implementation of policies in TVET particularly the national apprenticeship and job placement policies. Rayharna recently migrated to the Bahamas and shifted career path, since March 2022, she has been working with a Canadian Non-profit Bridge to health medical and dental as the Director of Operations. She currently works to improve health inequities primarily in Eastern Africa, Yemen and Latin America.



In addition to her professional achievements, Rayharna is known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit. She is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where everyone can thrive and grow.



She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Language and Communications through the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus and a Masters of Law in International Relations from the China Foreign Affairs University.



Rayharna is married to Jamahl, enjoys travelling, volunteering and spending a lot time in the kitchen.
