🌞 Good Morning, Friends!
Today we have bittersweet news to share.
Our wonderful Treasurer, Eileen, has made the decision to relocate. While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are so grateful for everything she has contributed to Airdrie Meals on Wheels. Eileen has been an amazing team player, a dedicated volunteer, and a true blessing to our organization. We wish her nothing but happiness and success in this exciting new chapter. ❤️
With Eileen's departure, we are now looking for our next Volunteer Treasurer to join our Executive Board.
If you have approximately 8 hours a month to give and would like to use your financial and organizational skills to make a meaningful difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
✔️ Accounts receivable and bank deposits
✔️ Bank reconciliations
✔️ Checking our post office mailbox
✔️ Accounts payable and ensuring expenses are paid on time
✔️ Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports at Board meetings
✔️ Supporting community events and helping raise awareness of the essential services Airdrie Meals on Wheels provides
We're looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and believes in giving back to our community. Every member of our Board is an ambassador for the clients we serve.
