As our products gained popularity, we decided to expand and take our waffles on the road attending festivals, farmer’s markets and special events. We restructured a 2003 Chevy Step Van into a Waffle Bus! To ensure our customers could obtain our products all year round we opened The Waffle Bus Stop. The two together allow u
s to satisfy folks in our community as well as throughout the Maritimes. Come and taste true authentic belgian waffles, both sweet & savoury. The Liège waffle, also known as the 'sugar waffle', has a sweet and crunchy coating with a soft and chewy inside. It is an oval shaped waffle with textures similar to a pastry. The crunchy coating comes from a special ingredient, pearl sugar, which melts and caramelizes during the baking process. The smell alone will keep you wanting more! These waffles are served as combos such as banana, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream, or blueberry sauce & real whipped cream, or fresh strawberries, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream. As well as savoury sandwiches, like local ham & cheese, steak & cheese or a veggie roasted eggplant option. Frozen waffles also available by the ½ dozen upon request. Just pop them in the toaster and be creative! Top them with your favourite sauces, whipped cream or ice cream.
