Time to show some appreciation to the people who go over and above with their Christmas decorations. If you know of a house that has put some real effort into decorating, please let me know. I think I might make and drop off some "thanks for being festive" goodies. I won't be able to get them all, but I'll try to get a bunch.

Twix, Mars bar, OH Henry, Mr. Big, Snickers, Butterfinger, and amazingly Turtles, all seemed to turn out fairly well. Butterfinger had the least change but I still enjoyed it. Packaging them to not get crushed seems to be the biggest issue.

For testing purposes, I left them in a Tupperware container in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. They were still fantastic! I'd like to see how long they would last but resisting them that long was already tough.

New product time. Sour salt water taffy. These wonderful little balls are lemon, cherry, and blue raspberry all twisted together. I will have a few bags with me down at the Alley Cat Festival in Athabasca tomorrow. I hope to see a few of you down there. It runs 10am to 5pm but we will see how long my inventory lasts.

Made up a bunch of original, berry, and tropical skittles. Followed that up with 3 batches of hi-chews.
Thinking I might get a table for the Athabasca Alley Cat Festival.

Venue change. The kids are set up at the car show.

If the rain holds off, the kids will be setting up after the parade. Value Drug Mart has said we can set up in front of their store.
I'd love to be there and toss out some free samples but unfortunately I have to work today. The kids will be happy to help you out though, weather permitting.

Sounds like the kids might set up and sell some of the freeze dried goodies at some point over the Canada day weekend. I'll try to update the page once I know exactly where and when.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream and cappuccino frozen yogurt are both amazing freeze dried. I'll be adding them to the list for sure.
