🎶Venue Change for Tonight's Music In The Park

With poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke and Environment Canada's advice to limit time outdoors and reschedule or cancel outdoor activities, we're moving the music indoors.

🎸 Scott & Samantha will now perform in MacNeil Hall at the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre (formerly the NDCC). The show will start at 7:00 p.m.

Please enter through the West Wing entrance.

We'll have the chairs set up, the air conditioning running, and the music ready to go, so you can enjoy an evening of great local talent in comfort. And, Hitched Coffee will be here selling cool, refreshing treats, so don't forget cash or your debit card!

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦

It's a hot one, so if you're planning to attend our July 1st Community Celebration tonight, here are a few tips:

- Bring your water bottle and use our refilling station to keep hydrated.

- Cool drinks and treats will be available from the food trucks (bring cash and debit).

-The splash pad will be open until 9PM for people of all ages to use and keep cool.

- Parking for the event is available at the east side of Cowan Park and the community centre, as well as the south and west sides of the community centre. There is an entrance to the park from the west parking lot.

- Be patient with staff, food truck operators and our entertainers as they will be working in hot conditions and could require more frequent breaks.

-Park washrooms and 2 portable washrooms are available for use tonight.

- If you require first aid, our Fire Department is there to assist.

Most importantly, tonight is a chance to connect and celebrate community, but let's make sure we do it safely and respectfully! We look forward to seeing you tonight, whether you're just stopping by for a quick visit or you're staying for the whole event.

Join us!

Staff are getting ready for tomorrow's July 1st Community Celebration ! With appropriate water breaks of course, as the weather is HOT and will continue to be hot for the remainder of the week.

Join us tomorrow at Cowan Park starting at 6:00 p.m. for an evening of free entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community fun, capped off with fireworks around 10:00 p.m.

Keep cool with a refreshing run through the splash pad. And don't forget to bring your refillable water bottle with you (filling station is available at Cowan Park) or buy cool treats from one of the food trucks!

Parking is available at the east side of Cowan Park and the Ayr Farmers Mutual Community Centre (formerly NDCC), as well as the south and west sides of the community centre.

Celebrate with your community...stay for the whole evening or just stop by for your favourite activities.

Today, I have come to the decision that a traditional brick-and-mortar establishment no longer aligns with my chosen path. The past four months have provided me with a fresh perspective. I am truly appreciating the adaptability that my mobile coffee business affords me. My children are growing up so quickly, and I feel that the universe is encouraging me to embrace a slower pace of life.

My sincere gratitude goes out to everyone who visited my storefront over the last three years. I will genuinely miss all the wonderful individuals who supported Hitched Coffee on a daily basis.
