Seven years ago, we took a chance on a little fish & chip shop on the river in Bancroft with one goal:
Make fish and chips worth driving for.
Not “good for a small town.”
Not “pretty good.”
The best we could possibly make — every single plate.
Since then, there’s been long days, early mornings, burned fingertips, fryer battles, stress, laughter… and yes, a few extra grey hairs along the way. 😂
The restaurant industry is more about passion than dollars. Most days, you do it because you love it. Because feeding people matters to you. Because seeing families come back year after year means something.
So being recognized as #3 out of the Top 11 Fish & Chip Restaurants in Ontario honestly hits differently for us.
To everyone who has supported us over the last 7 years — whether you stopped in once on a road trip, became a regular, brought your family, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or waited patiently in line on a busy summer day:
