Today marks 10 years since we opened the doors at Capt. Kat’s Lobster Shack ❤️

What started as a dream has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined, and it’s all because of the people who have walked through our doors over the years.

To every customer who stopped in for a meal, shared a laugh with us, recommended us to a friend, celebrated special moments here, or simply kept coming back year after year, thank you. Your support has meant more to us than words can truly express.

To our regulars… the familiar faces we see week after week… you’ve become part of the heart of this place. Watching families grow, seeing kids become adults, and sharing life’s ups and downs alongside this community has been one of the greatest privileges of these past 10 years.

Running a small business is never without challenges, but the kindness, loyalty, and support from this community has carried us through every season. We are deeply grateful for every single person who has supported us along the way.

The memories made within these walls over the past 10 years are something we will always cherish. Thank you for being part of our story, for supporting our business, and for continuing to make Capt. Kat’s feel like home. ❤️ 🦞❤️

We’re closed today in observance of Good Friday.

We’ll be back at it tomorrow, Saturday from 11:30 AM – 7 PM serving up your favourites!

We will also be closed Sunday for Easter Sunday.

In Loving Memory of the Miss Ally Captain & Crew

Thirteen years ago today, Captain Katlin Nickerson and his crew — Billy Jack Hatfield, Tyson Townsend, Cole Nickerson, and Joel Hopkins — headed out for the fishing grounds.

They were tragically lost at sea on February 17, 2013.

From February 12–18, we ask our community to keep a light on in honor of their lives, their courage, and the memories they left behind.

Always in our hearts.
Always on our minds.
