This is a memory from 4 years ago during the lock downs. I had the privilege of spending 9 weeks with my daughter and some close girlfriends who I call my βsoul sistersβ on a tiny island in BC. π
We baked bread, grew a garden, prepared many meals together, chopped wood, spent our days in nature and by the ocean, played music, danced & laughed - a lot! They called us the βHomestead Girlsβ π We were living in our own little bubble!
Perspective changes how we experience the world around us. Instead of living in fear, we chose to embrace this time together and cherish a once in a lifetime opportunity to connect with each other in ways our busy lives wouldnβt have otherwise allowed us to. I look back at these memories and give thanks for the many blessings that this crazy time to be on the planet brought us. π
