Not currently taking custom orders, just decorating for fun when I can! ☺️ It all started when I was a young teenager, spending spring, summer and sometimes Christmas breaks with my grandparents. I had two entirely different grandmothers; my grandma Mary could make the most delicious buns, breads, dinners and desserts from scratch with only 5 ingredients as we use to joke. My other grandmother Ela
ine (Nanny) was the complete opposite and always said “I only have a kitchen because it came with the house”. It was true, she hated cooking/baking and when she took time to bake with me, she relied on box mixes because she was not a baker. She could see how much I loved it, so she was patient standing in the kitchen overseeing me bake. Eventually, we got a little fancier, upgrading to fudges, candies and by the time I was 15, I was making cream puffs from scratch whenever I got a chance. Fast forward almost 10 years and I had built an appreciation and love for all things cake on Food Network. Wanting to make my son’s first birthday special, I skipped off to Michaels, learned the fundamentals of cake decorating and just kept going forward. I eventually tried cookie decorating, and fell in love: Armageddon Cookies was born.
My baking and cake hobby has grown into my full time business. I have placed first in a Cookie Competition and now teach classes to kids and adults. I am based out of Beaverlodge, Alberta and make cookies for the entire Peace County Region, although my amazing clients have shared cookies with family and friends across the entire world. My cookies taste amazing. I’ve spent years perfecting my recipe and baking techniques to create a cookie that not only looks pretty, but tastes amazing. I’m told they melt in your mouth and have a delicate texture like cake. I’ve come a long way from being a teenager using box mixes in the kitchen with Nanny, but I know she would be proud and my biggest supporter if she could see me today.
