They say you learn something every time you play...and Aislynn Robert is ready to put that experience to the test!!

A recent college graduate, Aislynn is no stranger to the BYC. With her mom having worked here for years, the BYC has always been a familiar place, making this challenge one that's close to her heart.

She's competed in the BYC Survivor Challenge before but came up just short of the title. Now she's back home after graduating, refreshed, determined, and ready to see if it's finally her year.

The BYC has always been close to Elliot Wilton's heart- his mom, Penny, was one of the Centre's co-founders and now Elliot is stepping into the challenge himself. 💜

⛳️A local realtor, golfer, sports enthusiast, and active community supporter, Elliot is ready to put his competitive spirit to the test!! He is here to give back to the community, honour the BYC's legacy, and maybe even take home a title this year.

We all know the importance of the Blenheim Youth Centre and I want to express my appreciation for everything the Youth Centre does — building community, supporting young people, and creating a space where they can grow, connect, and thrive.

An important part of the youth centre is Jamie Bonnell Memorial Courts.It honours a legacy of young lady that mattered deeply to Blenheim,the space provides recreational opportunities that bring youth together.

Through the Hydro One Ward Funding Program, councillors are able to support cultural and recreational capital projects across the municipality. With great appreciation a portion of the funds has been directed toward enhancements at the Jamie Bonnell memorial courts and surrounding area for improvements to recreational and social amenities at the Youth Centre.

This is exactly the kind of investment these funds are meant to encourage — strengthening community spaces and supporting the people who use them.

A big thank‑you to the Youth Centre for all they do and continue to do, and a massive thank‑you to Hydro One for helping make these community benefits possible.
