Just a reminder to everyone that this is our last week here at the Café. Our final day will be this coming Saturday.

Thanks once again to everyone who shared this journey with us. We’ve enjoyed serving each and every one of you, and we will miss you all! It’s been an amazing experience and now we’re looking forward to enjoying more time with our family.

This Saturday June 8th we will not have pea soup on the menu. The firettes will be selling pea soup as a fundraiser at the Milltown lions club. We still have full menu on Saturday but if you like pea soup please support the firettes and our fire department.

Dear Customers,

After much consideration, it is with very heavy hearts that we are announcing the permanent closure of Bayside Café on June 29th, 2024. This is a decision that hasn’t come easy; but now at our age, it’s time in our life for us to move on and spend more time with our family.

We have sincerely enjoyed every day serving you all and building this Café into an important part of the community. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

We understand that this is disappointing news for a lot of you. We had hoped someone would have taken over the Café and kept it going, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. We stayed open much longer than we originally planned and worked hard to try to find a new owner, with no luck. Along with you, we are very disappointed that no-one took advantage of this incredible opportunity.

Again, thank you so much to every single one of you that took the time over the past 6 years to drop by. To our regulars that we see almost every day. To the university students that we look forward to seeing when they come back home every spring. To the tourists visiting our beautiful community. To the workers from away that come by for a coffee and tell us about their families back home. Thank you so much to all of you, young and old, that have helped us realize our dream of building a place where people come to gather and enjoy each others company. Thank you.
