For over two decades in North Burnaby, the standard in our kitchen has never shifted: pasta is mixed, rolled, and cut by hand every single day.

Our father, Claudio, built the foundation for everything we do when he opened Pasta Amore in 2000. Long before that, he learned the craft across quiet kitchens in San Boldo, trusting touch, instinct, and hard work over shortcuts.

Claudio’s Ristorante was created as a tribute to him. While the room has evolved, that same heart remains. Our chef, who cooked shoulder-to-shoulder with our father for years, still dusts the wooden boards with flour every morning to carry his passion forward.

Tonight, let us pour the w**e, share his story, and take care of dinner. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

The finishing touch deserves a moment of its own. Especially when it’s freshly grated pecorino, and there’s no particular rush to say when.

Our Bucatini all’Amatriciana pairs savoury guanciale with tomato, onion and the gentle heat of Calabrian chili. Basil brings a little freshness, while pecorino lends a sharp, salty finish.

Some things are best enjoyed generously.

Before the first bite, there’s a little story to tell.

Some evenings call for comfort. Others call for a little heat. Our Mezzi Rigatoni ’Nduja leaves room for both.

Rich cream softens the warmth of ’nduja, with onion, garlic and grana padano bringing it all together. From the pan to your plate, every ridge gets its share.
