It’s Friday February 20th and we are in limbo.

At 11am we had this letter dropped off saying that they have to turn off the water to the business on Main Street Bowness.

No specific time and with a very broad time frame of when it could happen. The business liaison for Bowness (city employee) has been in touch with us expressing their concerns over lack of communication from the city.

So what are we to do. Our Friday and Saturday service are at risk and we can’t even formulae a contingency plan.

We have a full staff who is relying on us for livelihood and a full book of reservations that are potentially at risk and we have no information.

For a small family owned business a busy weekend is how we make payroll and pay suppliers and we are totally strapped for information on how to salvage anything.

I guess this is how Mayor Farkas gets things done.
