Chef Johnny has been busy in the kitchen, and his latest inspirations are giving us plenty of reasons to embrace the season! Chanterelle mushrooms are still stealing the spotlight, bringing their rich, earthy flavour to some seriously delicious creations.

From tender grass-fed venison striploin and rainbow trout to pork tenderloin and house-made pappardelle, these seasonal dishes are all about hearty flavours, fresh ingredients, and a little culinary indulgence.

And because a great meal deserves a great glass of w**e, we’ve welcomed a new arrival from Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula: Henry of Pelham Speck Family Reserve Baco Noir VQA 77. 🍷

Happy Birthday to our very own Chef Johnny!

Apparently, when your birthday falls on the last day of Oktoberfest, a simple “Happy Birthday” just isn’t going to cut it.

So naturally, Danilo Terra marched into the kitchen with his accordion and gave Chef Johnny a proper Bav-style birthday serenade.

From all of us at The Bav, we hope you have an amazing birthday, Johnny! Thanks for everything you do behind the scenes to keep us well fed and coming back for more.

🍻It’s the FINAL WEEKEND of Oktoberfest at The Bav! 🍻

One last weekend to enjoy our Oktoberfest menu, soak up a little Bavarian spirit, and loosen the lederhosen for one more round.

And we’re sending Oktoberfest out the right way… Danilo Terra is LIVE this Sunday from 3–7 PM! If you’ve seen Danilo play before, you already know, things tend to get a little lively when that accordion comes out.
