For the past year, this backyard has been slowly transforming.

What started as a few crazy ideas has become a place to gather around one long table, share incredible food, and spend an evening with people who arrive as strangers and leave as friends.

Saffron Summer is inspired by my travels around the Indian Ocean—from East Africa to India, Sri Lanka and Thailand—and by the belief that food tastes even better when it's shared.

Three intimate evenings.

🐔 Kuku Paka~ Tender chunks of chicken stewed with potatoes and yogurt in a delicious coconut cream curry, with hints of garlic and ginger.

🍃 Thai Yellow Veg~ This fragrant Thai curry has loads of seasonal Veggies in a coconut based vegan curry.

🍜 Pad Thai ~ A popular Thai stir fry with rice noodles and veggies, flavoured with fried garlic and roasted peanuts. Add your choice of chicken or prawns!
