We missed you! Happy hour is back today at the King Eddy, and we're kicking things off with country artist Ashley Garrett. 🎸

Known for her effortlessly powerful vocal range and a sound rooted in country, pop, and R&B, Ashley Garrett brings a fresh voice to today's music landscape.

Show starts at 4:30 pm. No cover.

Food and drinks are $10 or less from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The 22nd annual Calgary International Blues Festival starts in two weeks with two free events at the historic home of the blues, the legendary King Eddy.

🎸 July 27 at 7:00 pm — Calgary Bluesfest Kickoff Bash: Hard-hitting Calgary blues trio Bluerock Junction kicks off the Calgary Bluesfest with deep grooves, tight musicianship, and a whole lotta funk.
🎹 July 29 at 6:30 pm — Walk Through Blues History: Juno Award-winning piano blues legend Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne traces the origins of the blues in an intimate interview-style event.

New York City meets Calgary on the King Eddy stage on July 23. 🎶

NYC-based vocalist, songwriter, and pianist Bria Lee brings her soulful sound to the Eddy, fresh from performing a Carole King Tribute at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Calgary's own CELIN music opens the night with her warm, golden-hour blend of alternative pop and neo-soul, drawing inspiration from Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse.

🎟 $10 cover at the door.

Blues guitarist Amos Garrett and musician and historian John Rutherford reflect on the King Eddy's blues era when legends like Buddy Guy and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown performed multi-night stints and became a part of the community.

For those fortunate enough to earn their trust, these blues masters would share their craft with anyone sincere, determined, and talented enough to learn.

We’re celebrating over 120 years of King Eddy history the best way we know how – with loads of live music! From August 14-16, National Music Centre will present Eddy Fest, a three-day music festival bringing together artists, fans, and music lovers.

The festival will feature roots-rockers Brother Bicker Band, rock 'n' roll power trio Jade Elephant, funk and soul group Deicha & The VuDudes, singer-songwriter Duke Domino, blues-rock outfit Sonia Deleo & The New Dads, and rising blues-rock star Marcus Trummer, among many others.
