Friends, as you may have seen, we had a change in management last month. Rather than hire from outside, we decided to promote from within and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

We’re thrilled to share that Lelou and Myah have stepped up as our new Co-GMs, running the restaurant and market day to day.

Lelou hails from Arcachon, France and will be leading our daytime program. She’s been with ODB for 2 years, and if you’ve met her, you know she’s funny, warm, and one of the hardest-working people on our team.

Myah, a Sylvan Lake local (basically the Arcachon of Alberta), will be leading our evening program. A 6-year ODB veteran, she brings a hospitality, warmth, and know-how that keeps our evenings running just right.

The summer café menu has fresh salads like the Garden Party and Niçoise pictured here, alongside sandwiches and plenty of other lunch favourites.

We're here every day, and we'll be open 9am to 8pm on Canada Day as well.

The hot dog party might be off, but you can still bring the party home with some conservas. Maybe a bottle of wine too.

From sardines to mackerel to octopus to mussels, they're just as good straight from the tin with some crusty bread as they are added to a salad or a grazing board when you've got people over.

We've just had a fresh shipment arrive, with more on the way over the coming weeks. You'll find them in the back hallway across from the freezer.

Friends, we were really looking forward to a glizzy-filled Saturday alongside ice-cold suds from Ol’ Beautiful, but due to the new city noise bylaws... jk jk... due to the weather forecast this weekend, we’ve decided to postpone the event.

We always want the vibes to be high, and right now the forecast just isn’t cooperating. Plus, nobody likes wet hot dogs.

Our annual June feature is made with lobster from Ballantyne's Cove, Nova Scotia which is dressed with aioli, celery, shallot and lemon, then stuffed into a soft roll and served with your choice of fries or salad.

They’re available for dine-in or takeaway while supplies last. Once they’re gone, they’re gone until next June.
