🌿🍓 Red Gables Deli Update 🍓🌿

As many of you know, this time of year has always been special to us at Red Gables Deli — a time for fresh local asparagus, sweet strawberries, and the little seasonal traditions we’ve come to love.

While the deli is currently closed and we’re unable to continue those traditions this year, we’re happy to share that many of your favourite products — including our popular meat and Rock Ridge Dairy items, as well as Dutch specialty goods — are now available at Fergie's Bakery & Convenience!

Even better? The team at Fergie’s are just as warm, cheerful, and chatty as we’ve always tried to be. We know you’ll feel right at home.

📢 Important Announcement from Red Gables 🥪❤️

To our wonderful customers, friends, and community,

After 5+ years of sharing locally sourced products, building relationships, and creating a sense of community, Red Gables will be closing its doors on March 15, 2025. Your loyalty, kindness, and support have meant the world to us, and we are so grateful to have been a part of your lives.

When we opened, we were the first grocery store in Spring Creek, excited to bring fresh, quality goods to a growing neighbourhood. We believed in this community and poured our efforts into creating something special. Perhaps we were more passion-driven than profit-driven, our goal was always to serve this town with integrity, quality, and locally sourced products. We have tried our best to maintain a presence in Spring Creek, but it was simply not possible given the prevailing market conditions, coupled with corporate expectations in this town.

As a former dairy farmer, it seems fitting that our store stands where one of this town’s original, well-known, and well-respected dairy farms once thrived. The values that come from working the land—commitment to quality, sustainability, and providing fresh, honest food—have always been at the core of what we do.

As we prepare to close, we want to assure you that we will continue to provide a full suite of dairy, meat, and produce right up until our last day. We hope you’ll visit us in the coming weeks—not just to stock up, but to share a few more memories, stories, and smiles before we say goodbye.
