Most of us know Merv Warren, of Renfrew. He’s the guy who decided on a whim to "throw a party," flinging the Spring Fling together on his own dime. Because of his massive heart, the community rallied, prizes and donations flooded in, and thousands of dollars have been raised.

From doing dump runs, fix-it jobs, growing fresh produce, and being the most helpful, smiling face you’ve seen at Walmart for over 40 years, Merv is always standing in front of this community!

If Facebook has the power to let one anonymous mammal spread negativity, then it sure as heck has the power to show Merv how much he is actually loved!

They might have a trunk , but Merv has the whole town backing him up!

EVER CATCH YOURSELF SAYING, “I googled my symptoms and…” to a nurse? They’re usually the first to hear it. In all honesty, nurses don’t get nearly enough credit.

They run on cold coffee, little sleep, and nonstop shifts…yet still spend every day taking care of everyone else.

They work long hours, handle situations most people couldn’t imagine, often (like every shift) without enough support, and still show up with compassion every single day. ❤️

To everyone working in healthcare, we thank you. We appreciate everything you do to keep us healthy.
