It's tough to say goodbye Cochrane 👋
As most of you know, we had a fire at the restaurant in May. Our beloved oven was sadly destroyed and had to be removed. After months of hoping we could reopen and follow through with our plans to transition our restaurant into the Steakhouse we so felt this town was needing, we've made the decision to permanently close our doors.
To those of you that embraced us and supported us through our last attempt. THANK YOU, sincerely.
We'll never forget the kindness that was extended to us during our stay in Cochrane. There are some incredibly wonderful people living here and I'm grateful they found us when they did! To the parents raising the young people that became our staff and friends, please take a bow 🙏 know that you have done a kick ass job in the parenting department. I was forever grateful for the dedication and work ethic they brought with them every single time.
My heart felt apologies to those of you whom had trusted us to host your up coming events. I'm hoping everyone finds a suitable location for their celebration.

We are heartbroken to have to announce that once again our restaurant is temporarily closed. 💔

The chimney above our Forno oven caught fire last Wednesday morning. Our staff that were on the scene were safe and handled the situation as best as possible. We are very grateful to Cochrane Fire Services who were very quick to respond and kept the situation from escalating. Unfortunately our building suffered some structural damage as well as our beloved oven. That will result in a closure now estimated to be several weeks. It's certainly a devastating blow to our business and it's been incredibly tough to have to lay off the staff that has been our family for theses past 7 months.
For those of you who had special events booked, I will be, and have been working through our list. I'll be in touch. If you have a gift card for the restaurant please hang on to it. We will be back!

I'd like to sincerely thank our new friends and customers who have been supporting and cheering us on through these last few months. We appreciate each and everyone of you. Cochrane has been so warm and welcoming since we landed here last August, it already feels like home. I'm proud to have you in our corner. We've got a heck of a fight on our hands to get back up but we know you'll be there. Thanks for all the calls and messages of support. It means the world. 🙏

Thank you to the Cochrane Fire Department for your quick response time and excellent skills.
We had a fire in the restaurant this morning and will be closed until further notice. Everyone is safe and that's what really matters. We'll keep everyone updated as we know more. Thanks for the kindness and concern so many have shown us. We're so grateful for our friends and staff.

THANKS FOR THE HELP in sourcing local. We are proud to support another local, family run business. Highland Farm Honey is harvested south of Okotoks and just off of Highway 22. The Bees are dining on Wildflowers indigenous to our region. It has a mild slightly floral taste that is incredibly yummy!
Highland Farm Honey is now featured on our Roasted Garlic and Honey Flatbread as well as in our scratch recipies and perhaps some summer cocktails coming soon. Now available to purchase at our Market so you can take a jar home!
