Recently Bozco’s entered its 30th Year of operation. Starting back in 1993, Bozco’s has been making pizzas for the Coldwater and surrounding communities for over 30 years.
I wanted to extend a thank you from my family and my team for your support over the years.
If you’re reading this you are the reason we are here today. Your support and feedback have made Bozco’s the restaurant it is today, from customer-created menu items to some special requests that struck a note with us and made its way into a special.
Showing appreciation for our customers is something I have been thinking a lot about lately and one of the things that has come to my mind is importing a little bit of New York City into Coldwater(the good parts).
For those who don’t know in New Your City they have something called “The Dollar Slice”, you can walk into 1 of 100s of different Pizza by the Slice restaurants, Slap a US dollar on the table, and walk out of there with a solid slice of cheese pizza.
NYC-style pizzas are super thin, served crispy, and by the slice, classic is cheese but pepperoni is awesome too.
For me, growing up in a small town, born into a family pizza restaurant, and growing up on this side of the counter, NYC dollar slices is what I can only describe as Magical.
So, on the theme of customer appreciation and importing flavors Bozco’s is launching “Toonie on Tuesdays” (not to be confused with KFCs Toonie Tuesday trademark)
Starting with April, every Tuesday we will have the “Toonie on Tuesdays” Pizza by the slice Special. This will be for NYC-style slices as well as our regular slices.
You will be able to walk into Bozco’s, slap a Toonie on the counter, and walk out with a slice, NYC style or classic Bozcos cheese or Pepperoni slice each for only $2
This will coincide with our Pizza of the Month The New York-style thin 18” pizza. Thin, Crispy, and made with our special NYC sauce with a blend of cheese that I learned from my trips to the Big Apple.
Over the last few years, I have been working on nailing down what makes a New York Slice so good and after many pizza experiments I have refined our recipe to where I’m happy to announce the NYC-style pizza as pizza of the month and offer NYC slices for “Toonie on Tuesdays special”
Going forward please stay tuned as we will be launching additional specials throughout the year.
