The person who failed.

The person who was rejected.

The person who made mistakes.

The person who doubted themselves.

That version of you has valuable lessons.

Listen to the lessons.

Thank them for the wisdom.

But don't hand them the steering wheel.

Your Past Self was designed to teach.

Your Present Self was designed to build.

Your Future Self was designed to lead.

There are no mistakes in life, only lessons.

Learn the lesson.

Take the next step.

And allow Future You to mentor Present You instead of allowing Past You to control Present You.

Closing the chapter on 1830 StoneHouse Bar wasn’t easy, but it clarified where I’m meant to focus.
