This is a game changer! I tried it yesterday. It is so easy to make and it is delicious warm with butter melted on it. Tastes just like real bread and it has none of the fillers normally found in gluten free bread! This is what we have been missing in our lives ❤

Guess what day tomorrow is - Market Day! We will be at the Cranbrook Farmer's Market from 10-1.
Come and check out the new flavors this week! We hope that these will be some of your new favorites. Four Berry Scones, Lemon Poppyseed Loaf and Brown Sugar Loaf, which is my kids' New favorite, will all be making appearances. There may even be a savory flavor that shows up this week, but you will have to come and see for yourself.

My favorite part of yesterday....
A lady who is celiac was so excited to get a cinnamon bun. She has not had one in years. Her 3 or 4 year old daughter peered over the edge of the basket to see what treasure her maman had just hidden there. The lady said "It's a cinnamon bun baby. You've never tried one but we'll share it." ❤ This is my why. This is the reason I feel the need for a business like this in our area. My own daughter is the reason I set out on my journey to make gluten free taste real instead of like cardboard.

I've thought about this question a lot over the past year... Is it better to have tasted something and know what you are missing out on? Or is it better to have never experienced the simple pleasure of a delicious treat and never know what you are missing out on?

I'm not sure what the answer is, but my goal has always been to bring back the treat to my daughter. Mostly she had already experienced those tastes. I feel like there are a few wins I have been able to pull off in our celiac journey. I hope to share those with others ❤

I am grateful to so many people but this story is connected to a good friend with a cute little shop called Kootenay Grounds Cafe and Bookstore. Early on in our journey I was told that her gluten free baking was the tastiest gluten free stuff around. If her shop was celiac safe our journey would have ended there and we would be her number one source of income. She gave me some amazing advice. That basic knowledge, along with eating an awful frozen gluten free pierogy (not hers!) sparked a research project about blending gluten free flours for specific applications. I use different blends of flour based on the product I am baking. This knowledge gives me the ability to closely mimic the texture that gluten free products are missing. I hope you enjoy these treats and I hope they can be a safe way to fulfill the tastes you are missing!

**Celiac friends please note I went through way more ingredients than anticipated in my trial week and I have had to source some untested 'Gluten Free' ingredients. Initially everything seems safe but I just want to give you a heads up**
