This week for our “Support Local” feature, we wanted to share a business that is especially close to our hearts — Rory’s Gold 🐝💛
Many people know our daughter Aurora as Rory. What some may not know is that Rory is also the CEO of her very own small business at just 5 years old.
Rory’s Gold was created to help support her future, and Caravan Bakery proudly purchases all of our honey products from her business. Every jar, every product, and every bit of support goes directly toward Rory’s future RDSP account to help provide security and care for her later in life, when mom and dad no longer can.
Rory is non-verbal autistic, and while we have never publicly shared much about this before, we want people to know there is absolutely no shame in autism. Rory is perfect exactly the way she is. She sees the world differently, beautifully, and she inspires us every single day.
This business is so much more than honey to us — it represents love, inclusion, hard work, hope, and creating a future for our daughter.
Right now, Caravan Bakery has happily gobbled up most of the honey supply 🍯😂 but we will soon have more available for purchase and order!
